ITEM EXPLANATION Building Department staff conducted an inspection of the three sites referenced a nuisances, on Wednesday, March 4,1992. Upon completion of that inspection, it wa noted that two (2) of the Chinquapin structures previously considered dangerous, ha1 been removed. Remaining on the sites, are two (2) concrete slabs which in staff opinion present no immediate hazard to the public. The structure located o Harrison has been demolished. Due to unforseen circumstances with the sit conditions and the contractor, complete removal of remaining debris has not yet bee achieved. Staff estimates that at least 90% of the debris was removed, and that th remaining 10% poses no immediate threat or danger to the public. In addition, th hazardous conditions related to excessive vegetation, brush and dry weeds has bee removed. The owner has made significant progress toward abatement of all dangerou conditions previously noted on the properties, staff is therefore recommending ths the City Council recieve the staff report and file the matter. Staff will continue t work with the property owner until 100% compliance has been achieved.
