TITLE:ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROV
AYRES SEWER TRUNK LINE REPAIR
CARLSBAD TRACT NO. 85-35, PD 335
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept improvements, authorize the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release bonds
in accordance with State Laws and City Ordinances, and direct the Utilities and Maintenance
Department to commence maintaining the public sewer trunk line improvements constructed at
the north side of Batiquitos Lagoon for the project known as Aviara.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Developer has constructed the improvements required of this project, The City Engineer is
requesting that City Council accept the public improvements itemized in Exhibit 3. City forces
have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Utilities and Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the public sewer trunk line
improvements at an estimated annual cost of $2,000.
The value of the improvements is estimated at $57,855.
