RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 92-193, appointing one member to the Child Care Commissioi
ITEM EXPLANATION
The term of Mary Alice Isenhart expires in July, 1992. Ms. Esenhart was original
appointed to the Commission on April 16, 1991, to fill a vacated term and has serve
one year and two months.
Section 2.30.030 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code establishes term lengths at four yea
for members of the Child Care Commission. The Commission, however, terminates :
July, 1993, unless extended by the City Council. Therefore, the term of the appointt
shall expire either with the termination of the Commission in July, 1993, or in July (
1996 if the the life of the Commission is extended by Council.
Other members of the Commission are: Julie Baker, Linda Gilk, Merry L’Esperanc
Mark Schwei, Dennis Cutler, and Barbara Mead.

WHEREAS, the term of Mary Alice Isenhart expires in July, 1992;
