RECOMMENDED ACTION:
ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION
Accept donation of $900 from Southern California Tennis Association Junio
Development Program, adopting Resolution No. q2 - Us.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Recreation Department has received a nine hundred dollar ($900.00) grar
donation from the Southern California Tennis Association to help augment the Youtl
Tennis Day Camp Program held August 3rd through the 7th, 1992. Funding is madl
available in cooperation with the United States Tennis Association and the UNOCAI
to provide seed money grants to deserving Youth Tennis Programs.
The Parks and Recreation Commission has received this donation and ha
unanimously recommended acceptance by the City Council. If the Council concurs
a letter of appreciation will be sent on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Departmen
FISCAL IMPACT:
Nine hundred dollars ($900.00) will be deposited into account #880-519-9210-00
(Recreation Special Events).

RESOLUTION NO. 92-225
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A
NINE HUNDRED ($900) DOLLAR DONATION FROM THE
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TENNIS ASSOCIATION IN
SUPPORT OF YOUTH DAYCAMP PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, the Southern California Tennis Association has donated Nir
Hundred ($900) Dollars to the City of Carlsbad in support of a Youth
Recreation Program sponsored by the Association's Junior Development
Program, and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has received this
donation and recommends acceptance by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges the generosity of the
Southern California Tennis Association and wishes to accept this donation in
support of the Youth Tennis Daycamp Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
