ITEM EXPLANATION
The San Marcos City Council is expected to consider a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for
the expansion of the San Marcos Landfill at its Tuesday, August 25, 1992 meeting. If the
issue is not decided at that meeting, the issue may be continued from day to day until
At your September 1, 1992 meeting, City staff will give the Council an update of the status
of the San Marcos Landfill expansion and solid waste issues in general. The City Council
may wish to discuss and take action on the CUP conditions. The proposed CUP
conditions will be forwarded to Council when received from San Marcos.
