RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. Sa-Ag'l' approving a-quitclaim for an ea originally dedicated to the Carlsbad Mutual Water Company a1
Charter Oak Drive.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
This item is a request by Enrique R. Laso and Harriet Le
quitclaim the City's interest in a water line easement local their property at 3515 Charter Oak Drive. The easement was orig
successor in interest. The Carlsbad Municipal Water Di engineering staff has reviewed the request and the easement
being utilized, and their master plan has no use scheduled fo
easement now or in the future.
The above easement is no longer necessary and ,staff recommend Council approve the quitclaim requested by Mr.. & Mrs. Laso.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A QUITCLAIM FOR AN EASEMENT ORIGINALLY DEDICATED TO THE CARLSBAD MUTUAL WATER COMPANY AT 3515 CHARTER
OAK DRIVE
WHEREAS, Enrique R. Laso and Harriet Laso have su
a request for quitclaim of a water easement which was ori
dedicated to the Carlsbad Mutual Water Company over a por
their property located at 3515 Charter Oak Drive; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is the succes
interest to the Carlsbad Mutual Water Company: and,
WHEREAS, said easement was never utilized for the
for which it was granted and is not now nor is it contempl
be needed for the purpose of waterline installation; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carls
determined it to be in the public interest to quitcla
easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci.
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
