City Council approved contract documents and authorized the Clerk to advertise for bic for the 1991-92 Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk Replacement Program, Contract No. U/
92-9, on July 7, 1992.

The contractor‘s registration, references, and bonds have been verified by the Utiliti
and Maintenance Department and the Purchasing Department. Therefore, it is staf
recommendation that the contract for the 1991-92 Curb, Gutter and Sidewz
Replacement Program, Contract No. U/M 92-9, be awarded to the low bidder, L
Wilson Construction of Indio, California, in the amount of $90,081.75.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
The Planning Director has determined that the proposed project which is limited
repair and maintenance of existing facilities is categorically exempt from environmen
review pursuant to Section 15301 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regdatio
(CEQA Guidelines).
FISCAL IMPACT:
The estimate for the work was. $128,834. Adequate funds are available in accol
number 001-820-5110-2411 for completion of the contract.
