PCH CITY M( RECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recummends Council adopt Resolution No. 7 a- 31 7, authorizing the transfer of 1 furnishings to the Carlsbad School District. ITEM EXP LAN AT10 N : From time to time, the City Council has transferred surplus office furnishings that Ci longer be used by the City to the Carlsbad School District. Representatives from the District have expressed an interest in obtaining a number of desks, cabinets and chz are presently stored at the warehouse. Since the City does not have a need for thest it is recommended they be declared surplus and transferred to the Carlsbad School FISCAL IMPACT: The Councils decision to transfer the furnishings to the School District rather than them at the County Auction will not seriously affect the General Fund revenues for . Resolution No. O/A -359. b \ c 1 2 3 4 5 6 '7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 w 0 RESOLUTION NO. 92-347 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING CERTAIN FURNISHINGS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF SAID FURNISHINGS TO THE CARLSBAD SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determine furnishings are surplus; and WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to transfer these furnishings to the Carlsba District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of Car follows: 1. 2. 3. That the above recitations are true and correct. That the items listed in Exhibit "A" be declared surplus. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to transfer sai the Carlsbad School District.
