BUILDING AUTHORITY APPOINTMENT CITY MGRE&$L
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 96?-.957 , recommending that the County Board of Supervisors confirm the appointment of one member to the Carlsbad Building Authority.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Due to the unfortunate death of Charles Rowe, we have a vacancy on the Building Authority.
The Carlsbad Building Authority was established as a separate legal public entity to construct, maintain and operate the public buildings and facilities included in the Carlsbad Civic Center. The Building Authority meets on an as needed basis to review the on-going financial arrangements of the Civic Center operation.
Appointments to the Building Authority must be confirmed by the County Board of Supervisors. The individual appointed will fill the term which expires in October, 1993.
The other members currently serving on the Building Authority are: Marvin Cap and Don Pool.
EXHIBITS :
1. Resolution No. ?2-35?, recommending that the Board of Supervisors confirm the appointment of one member to the Carlsbad Building Authority.
2. Copies of applications received in calendar years 1991 and 1992.
