TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
ARLAND ROAD AND BUENA VISTA MINOR SUBDIVISION 802
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept improvements, authorize the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release bonds
in accordance with State Laws and City Ordinances, and direct the Utilities and Maintenance
Department to commence maintaining the public street improvements and the Carlsbad Municipal
Water District to maintain the public sewer improvements constructed at Arland Road and Buena
Vista.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Developer has constructed the improvements required of this project. The City Engineer is
requesting that City Council accept the public improvements itemized in Exhibit 3. City forces
have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory.
I FISCAL IMPACT:
The Utilities and Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the public street
improvements and Carlsbad Municipal Water District the public sewer improvements, at an
estimated annual cost of $500.
The value of the improvements is estimated at $136,690.
