Most owners are already well along in this process. Immediately following Council’s adoption of the resolution setting the time to connect, notices will be sent by the City to all property owners and residents. FISCAL IMPACT: The utility trenching, placing conduit and most structures is being done by the City’s contractor and is funded in the CIP. The cabling and electrical equipment work is being done by the utility companies at their expense under Rule 20A of the Public Utility Commission. Each property owner will be responsible for undergrounding their own service at a cost of $1,100 to $1,500 per service. EXHIBITS : 1. Location map. 2. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the date on which affected property< owners must be ready to connect to underground service is March 22, 1993. 2. That a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the County Recorder’s Office and also mailed to each affected property owner. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the 2nd day of MARCH , 1993 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Stanton, Kulchin, Finnila .
