RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-231, amending the Carlsbad Municipal Code to declare "NO
Parking" between 12:OO midnight and 6:OO AM on the easterly and southerly sides of
Car Country Drive from Auto Center Court to its intersection With Paseo del Norte.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-231 was introduced at the regular City Council meeting of March 16
1993. The second reading allows Council to adopt the ordinance which would ther become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published in tht
"Carlsbad Sun" within fifteen days, if adopted.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITL
10, CHAPTER 10.40 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY TH
AMENDMENT OF SECTION 10.40.073 TO DECLARE "NO PARKING" BETWEE
12:OO MIDNIGHT AND 6:OO A.M. ON THE EASTERLY AND SOUTHERLY SIDES C
CAR COUNTRY DRIVE FROM AUTO CENTER COURT TO ITS INTERSECT10
WITH PASEO DEL NORTE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1 : That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is
by the revision of Section 10.40.073 to read as follows:
"1 0.40.073 Parkinq Restricted on Car Countrv Drive:
a. There will be Two-Hour Parking on the westerly and northerly sic
Country Drive between the hours of 8:OO a.m. and 6:OO p.m,
thorough Friday, with holidays excepted, from Auto Center C
intersection with Paseo Del Norte.
There will be No Parking on the easterly and southerly sid
Country Drive between the hours of 12:OO midnight and 6:OO
Auto Center Court to its intersection with Paseo Dei Norte."

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its adoptif
City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published (
Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days of its adoption.
