RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Authorize Battalion Chief Watson to travel to the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, M
IT E M EX P LAN AT I 0 N :
Battalion Chief Watson is enrolled in the "Executive Fire Officer Program" at the Natioi
Academy. He has attended two of the four classes in the program and is scheduled to attend class from October 11 -22, 1993. This trip was originally included in the Fire Depai
budget but was inadvertently deleted in the final draft.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No direct cost to the city. Lodging is provided by the Academy, the student is reimbursed
federal government for travel expenses, and Chief Watson will pay for meals.
