RESOLUTION NO. 93-282
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
DONATIONS OF MERCHANDISE VALUING ATOTAL
OF FIVE THOUSAND, NVO HUNDRED, TEN
DOLLARS ($5,210) IN SUPPORT OF THE 15TH
ANNUAL CARLSBAD BODY SURFING CONTEST.
WHEREAS, the 15th Annual Carlsbad Body Surfing Contest was held on
August 14 and 15, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the City Parks and Recreation Department received
merchandise donations in support of the Body Surfing Contest, a listing of which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges the generosity and community
support of the vendors who have donated to this special event; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept these donations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City oi
Carlsbad as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the City Council does hereby accept the merchandise donations
totaling five thousand, two hundred, ten dollars ($5,210).
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad held on the 5th day of OCTOBER , 1993, by the
following vote, to wit:
