Subject: GBB Contract Status
Dear Frank:
As you will recall, each of the North County Solid Waste Management I
members contributed $10,000 to an account to pay for the contract services c
Total costs during the first phase of the project totalled $27,865.50. GBB'
price for evaluation of proposals is $9,422. Task 3, contract negotiations, is
as a time and materials item at $22,870. With the addition of project mana!
costs, the subtotal for this current phase of the contract is $35,302.
There is an immediate need for each of the member agencies to appropriate
to cover GBB's review of the proposals. If we wish to also fund the nego
phase as currently estimated, each agency's total share would be $10,800.
Let's plan on talking after the JPA meeting on Thursday to determine a co
action.

Dana Hield Whitson
