Receive presentation from the Barrio Carlsbad Association regarding propc
for the Barrio.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The City Council received a request from Ofelia Escobedo, President of t
Carlsbad Association, to make a presentation to the City Council on prop
plans for the Barrio.

On Wednesday, October 27, 1993, we made a presentation to the
School Board on the proposed plans €or the Barrio. In additic
Dee Landers from your Planning Department advised the School as to what the City is doing within the Barrio for the Genera update. The School Board was very interested and appreciated collective comments.
We request that we be placed on the Council Agenda to provide
and the Council Members with the same information we presentel
the School Board.
The Carlsbad City staff and the outside consultant held a wor
