In additic Dee Landers from your Planning Department advised the School as to what the City is doing within the Barrio for the Genera update. The School Board was very interested and appreciated collective comments. We request that we be placed on the Council Agenda to provide and the Council Members with the same information we presentel the School Board. The Carlsbad City staff and the outside consultant held a wor meeting at Jefferson School on Monday evening, November 1, 19 We were extremely pleased with the turn out and the response the community members. The RD-M is one of the newer city zones and has been desi( allow for more flexibility for the land owner in terms of of dwelling units per lot. Density is based on the general plan, not the actual lot z Density on the general plan is described as a range of den: ie..RMH (existing general plan) is shown as 8 - 15 dwellinc per acre with a control point of 11.5 dwelling units per a Section 21.24.120, Paragraph (C) of the Municipal Code stat the city council may designate the maximum density permitt the property is located in a transitional area between e residential neighborhoods and other uses, including densities. - - - - The above code reference appears to be suited to the con that exist in the Barrio and provide the widest range of for the property owners.
