ITEM EXPLANATION; Attached is the Summary Report of the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting of January 17, 1994. EXHIBIT; 1. Summary Report, Parks and Recreation Commission meeting, January 17, 1994 012 January 15, 1994 TO: MAYOR LEWIS COUNCIL MEMBERS FROM: Parks and Recreation Commission SUMMARY REPORT OF ACTION ITEMS OF THE JANUARY 17, 1994 PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING The following consent items were unanimously approved. 1 . AB #194-1 Director's Report - Parks & Recreation Director's Report for January 1994 (4-0). 2. AB #194-2 Summary Report - December 20, 1994 Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting (4-0). 3. AB #194-3 Letter/Dee Lundauist - The Commission accepted and filed a letter from Dee Lundquist and acknowledge staffs' response to her concerns regarding certification requirements for aerobic instructors (4-0). 4. AB #194-4 Receipt of Donations - The Commission received donated articles of memorabilia for the Carrillo Ranch and recommended acceptance by the City Council (5-0). DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS 5. Ab #194-5 Kruaer House/Preschool Update - The Commission accepted and filed a staff update on the operation of the Kruger House/Preschool Program subsequent to Council's action on December 8, 1992 (5-0). 6. AB #194-6 Committee Assignments - Commission members were assigned to various standing subcommittees of the Parks and Recreation Commission by the Chairperson. Appointments were approved (5-0). 7. AB #194-7 February Commission Meeting - Due to a City recognized holiday (Washington's Birthday), the regularly scheduled February 21, 1994 Parks & Recreation Commission meeting has been canceled. Contingent upon the necessity of agenda items to appear before the Commission, the next scheduled meeting will be March 21, 1994 (5-0).
