RECOMMENDED ACTION: PLN ZONES 4 AND 20 APPRl That the City Council IDOPT Resolution NO. the zone boundary adjustment between Local Facilities Managc Zones 4 and 20. ITEM EXPLANATION The Zones 4 and 20 Local Facilities Management Plans (LFMP) originally adopted on June 16, 1987 and September 6, 3 respectively. When the zone plans were originally approved, map which depicted the zone boundary was incorrectly dr Parcel 214-300-08 (as shown on attached exhibit "Ab1) is recreational vehicle storage facility for the Alta development located in Zone 4. The intent was to include recreational vehicle storage facility in the same LFMP Zone as Alta Mira development. However, the LFMP zone maps incorrectly drawn showing the Alta Mira recreational veh storage parcel (214-300-08) in Zone 20. At this time, Staff is requesting that the zone boundar] officially amended to accurately reflect the location of recreational vehicle storage parcel to be in zone 4. The boun adjustment would correct the problem of having a si development located within two separate LFMP zones. The proposed amendments to the Zone 4 and 20 Local Facili Management Plans have been prepared in accordance with Chal 21.90 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code. The proposed bounc adjustment is merely to correct a mapping mistake made when plans were originally adopted. This boundary adjustment will affect the implementation of either LFMP 4 or LFMP 20. : change is consistent with the Cityls Growth Management Ordin; (Chapter 21.90 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code). ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW The amendment to the zone boundary between Zones 4 and 20 covered by previously approved Negative Declarations issued by Planning Director on April 29, 1987 and May 27, 19 respectively. - 9'1- lDr/ FISCAL IMPACT None.
