T'TLE:ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. NS-281 -
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-281, amending Title 10 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
establish a prima facie 30 mile per hour speed limit upon Loker Avenue West frc
Palomar Airport Road to its intersection with El Fuerte Street.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance NO. NS-281 was introduced at the regular City Council meeting of May 1
1994. The second reading allows Council to adopt the ordinance which would thf
become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance publisht
within fifteen days, if adopted.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE ClTY COUNCIL OF THE ClTY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44, OFTHE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.460 TO
ESTABLISH A PRIMA FACIE 30 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON
LOKER AVENUE WEST FROM PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH EL FUERTE STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains
SECTION 1 : That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code i!
by the addition of Section 10.44.460 to read as follows:
"1 0.44.460 Loker Avenue West:
Upon Loker Avenue West from Palornar Airport Road to its intersection wit1
Street, the prima facie speed limit shall be thirty miles per hour."
