RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-286, amending various sections of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
Administrative Services/Projects Manager to reflect the establishment of the Communit~ to add referewes tb CammWity Sentit& Department, Community Senkeg Director, and
Sedces Department and associated management classXcadons.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-286 was introduced and first read at the regular City Council meeting
of July 12, 1994. The second reading allows Council to adopt the ordinance which
would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance
published within fifteen days, if adopted.

CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD REFERENCES TO THE
COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR AND THE COMMUNITY SERVIC DEPARTMENT
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Californi
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 2, Chapter 2.48 of the Carlst
Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of paragraph
section 2.48.030 to delete all references to the "Parks a
Recreation Directortt, the Wtilities Directorll, the IIMaintenan
Directortt, and the "Research and Analysis Manager", and to a

SECTION 2: That Title 6, Chapter 6.08 of the Carlsl:
Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of sections 6.08.02
