The Senior Center recently received a $1,000 donation. The individua
donating the funds have requested that the donation be utilized to suppc
special luncheons (Octoberfest, Luau, etc.). In addition, the donors ha\
requested to remain anonymous.
Senior Commission Recommendation:
At their meeting on August 4, 1994, the Senior Commission unanimous
accepted the $1,000 donation. The Commission recommends that th
donation be deposited into the Senior Trust Fund to be utilized to celebra
special occasions in the diningroom.
Fiscal Impact:
The $1,000 donation has been deposited into the Senior Trust Fund Accou
#880-519-9203-0000.

_- -. -_ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF
ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000)

WHEREAS, one thousand dollars ($1,000) was donated to the
Carlsbad Senior Center by persons who wish to remain anonymous; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1.
($1,000) on behalf off the Senior Citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
That the City Council accepts the donation of one thousand dollars
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
6th day o City Council of the City of Carlsbad held on the
SEPTEMBER , 1994, by the following vote, to wit:
