Adopt Resolution No. ?ii-&?g , authorizing the destruction of certain files in the City Clerk's
Office.
ITEM MPLANATION
This Agenda Bill is part of a continuing Records Management Program for the City. Adoption of t
attached Resolution will allow for destruction of contract bids.
Section 34090 of the Government Code provides authority for destruction of documents that are
more than two years old and are no longer required. The section also requires City Attorney
consent and City Council authorization prior to destruction of any document.
The documents listed in Exhibit "A" of the attached Resolution have been reviewed in accordance

RESOLUTION NO. 94-283
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, (
AUTHORIZING DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN FILES.
. WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code provides authority for the destruct
records;
WHEREAS, the documents listed on Exhibit "A', attached hereto and made a part herc

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci Council of the City of Carlsbad, 1

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
