ITEM EXPLANATION;
The City currently has a contract and work is underway to replace various sidewa
the City. It has come to staffs attention that the sidewalks on both sides of P
Norte between Price Club and Alta MirdSeagate subdivisions are in serious need
Staff is recommending that these sidewalks be added to the existing contract il
efficiently complete the work. Cost of the added sidewalk repairs is $28,850. F
currently available to complete this work.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds in the amount of $28,850 are available in Account No. 152-820-51 10-24
has an existing balance of $346,248.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 7
FOR SIDEWALK PROJECT AND MAR Y MONTANAS REPAIR
WORK, CONTRACT NO. 3391-2/3413.
WHEREAS, construction is underway to replace various sidewalk in the Crty I
the Sidewalk Project and Mar Y Montanas Repair Work, Project No. 3391 -a341 3; a1
WHEREAS, it has come to staffs attention that the sidewalks on both sides o
Norte between Price Club and Atta MirdSeagate subdivisions are in serious need of
WHEREAS, it is necessary to initiate contract Change Order No. 7 to
replacement of the Paseo Del Norte sidewalks; and,
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $28,850 for said change order are availablc

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City c

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Change Order No. 7 to Project No. 3391-a3413 in the amount (

The Contractor is directed to make the following changes as described herein. Changes
include all labor, materials, equipment, contract time extension, and all other goods and ser
required to implement this change. Payment stated on this change order includes all cha
