RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-298, amending Title 10 of the Carlsbe Municipal Code to establish a prima facie 55 mile per hour spec limit upon Palomar Airport Road from the Price Club signalize intersection to the east city limit.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-298 was introduced at the regular City Councj meeting of December 13, 1994. The second reading allows Councj to adopt the ordinance which would then become effective I
thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance publishc within fifteen days, if adopted.

A PRIMA FACIE 55 MILE PER HOUR SPEED UMlT UPON PALON
AIRPORT ROAD FROM THE PRICE CLUB SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION TO 7 EAST CITY LIMIT
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follow
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code i:
by the revision of Section 10.44.170 to read as follows:
"10.44.170 Palomar Aiwort Road:
(a) Upon PalomarAirport Road from Carlsbad Boulevard to its inters Paseo Del Norte, the prima facie speed limit shall be thirty-five miles per
(b) Upon Palomar Airport Road from Paseo Del Norte to its inters the Price Club signalized intersection (approximately 1,800 feet easterly)
