ITEM EXPLANATION This Agenda Bill is part of a continuing Records Management Program for the City. Adoption of t attached Resolution will allow for destruction of contract bids. Section 34090 of the Government Code provides authority for destruction of documents that are more than two years old and are no longer required. The section also requires City Attorney consent and City Council authorization prior to destruction of any document. The documents listed in Exhibit “A” of the attached Resolution have been reviewed in accordance with the provision of the Government Code. They meet the requirement, and the City Attorney h; consented to their destruction. FISCAL IMPACT None. EXHIBITS 1.
