NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR
REPAIR OF BUENA VISTA CREEK CONCRETE
CHANNEL EAST OF EL CAMINO REAL
ECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. q 5 - 1 7 accepting the repair of Buena Vista Creek Concrete Channel east of El Camino Real, Project No. 3385, as complete and directing the City Clerk to record a Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State Law
and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On August 2, 1994, J. C. Baldwin was awarded a contract in the amount of $103,853.00
to construct the repairs of Buena Vista Creek concrete channel east of El Camino Real.
J.C. Baldwin completed the work on November 16,1994. City forces have inspected said construction and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends formal acceptance by the City Council.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE REPAIRS OF BUENA VISTA CREEK
CONCRETE CHANNEL EAST OF EL CAMINO REAL, PROJECT NO. 3385
AS COMPLETE.
WHEREAS, construction of the repairs of Buena Vista Creek Concrete Channel east of El
Camino Real has been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That construction of repairs of Buena Vista Creek Concrete Channel east of El Camino
Real, specifically identified as Project No. 3385, is deemed complete and hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
the Notice of Completion and have same recorded.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 24th day of JANUARY , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
