Adopt Resolution No. 9 5-34 , appointing one member to Underground Utility Advisory Committee of the City of Carlsbad. ITEM EXPLANATION: The membership of the Underground Utility Advisory Committee originally established by Resolution No. 4073. In 1988, membership was modified by Resolution No. 88-330 as follows: City Engineer Planning Director Redevelopment Director Utilities and Maintenance Director Pacific Telephone Representative SDG&E Representative Planning Commission Chairman Cable Television Representative Member-at-Large (4-year term) (appointed by Ma Resolution No. 9 5 - 48 , modifies that membership to change title from ttUtilities and Maintenance Director" to ItCommunity Sen Directortt. In addition, Mr. Gordon Baker was serving as the Member-at-Large, his term expired on December 31, 1994. Appointed members serve f year terms, and Mr. Baker has served two full terms. EXHIBITS : 1. WHEREAS, the City Council did, on January 4, 1977, a Resolution No. 4073 creating and establishing the Undergr Utility Advisory Committee: and WHEREAS, the City Council did, on September 6, 1988, a Resolution No. 88-330, increasing the committee to nine (9) mem by adding the Redevelopment Director and the Utilities Maintenance Director; and WHEREAS, there has been a reorganization in the city resul in the deletion of the Utilities and Maintenance Director ti and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to correct the membershj the committee to replace the Utilities and Maintenance Dire with the Community Services Director.
