NS-304 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.40 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE REVISION OF SECTION 10.40.076 TO DECIARE "TWO-HOUR PARKING 24-HOURS PER DAY SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK" FOR THE TWENTY-FIVE PARKING SPACES IN THE PARKING LOT DIRECTLY EAST OF THE CARLSBAD COMMUNITY SWIM COMPLEX. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows: SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by the revision of Section 10.40.076 to read as follows: "10.40.076 Parking Restricted in the parking lot east of the Community Swim Complex. There will be Two-Hour Parking 24-hours per day seven days per week for the 25 parking spaces located between the driveway on Monroe Street at the south end of the Swim Complex to the driveway on Monroe Street at the north end of the Swim Complex." EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad within fifteen (15) days of its adoption. INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the ludayof FEBRUARY , 1995. and thereafter. It was adopted by the City Council in order to relieve parking congestion at the swim complex which discouraged or inhibited patrons from using it. explains the reasons for this restriction. The ordinance will become effective Friday, March 24, wanted to alert you to its provisions so that you can take whatever steps you feel are appropriate in notifying your faculty and students of its provisions.
