RESOLUTION NO. 95-80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CllY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CllY ENGINEER TO SIGN HOLD
HARMLESS AGREEMENT LElTERS FOR PROJECTS REQUIRING
COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMITS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby finds it necessary, desira
and in the public interest to obtain Coastal Development Permits for the City projects; and
WHEREAS, the California Coastal Commission requires that the city submit a t
harmless agreement letter prior to issuance of a permit; and
WHEREAS, this authorization will expedite the acquisition of the Coastal Developn
Permits for Ctty projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlst
California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the Ctty Engineer is hereby authorized to sign hold harmless agreement let
when required by the Coastal Commission for City projects requiring a Coastal Developn
Permit.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Ctty COL
held on the 4th day of APRIL , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
