and directing the City Clerk to record a Notice of Completion and release bor
accordance with State Law and Clty Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On July 12, 1994, West Coast General Corporation was awarded a contract in the ar
of $496,802.60 to construct the extension of Avenida Encinas.
West Coast General Corporation completed the work on March 20, 1995. City force:
inspected said construction and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends 1
acceptance by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
FISCAL IMPACT:
A summary of the final project cost is as follows:

Funds for the project were provided from a combination of City, NCTD and Encir
Powers agency. The exact distribution of cost will be subject to a final project auc contractor has claims outstanding on this project which may require additional fl e

RESOLUTION NO. 95-124
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE EXTENSION OF AVENIDA ENCINAS,
PROJECT NO. 3416, AS COMPLFTE
WHEREAS, construction of Avenida Encinas extension between 6200 Avenida
and 6800 Avenida Encinas has been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of '
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That construction of Avenida Encinas extension, specifically identified as PI
3416, is deemed complete and hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed tc
the Notice of Completion and have same recorded.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Cii
held on the 16th day of MAY , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
