ITEM EXPLANATION:
This item is a request by Carpenters Pension Trust for Southern California, the current owner of P<
Parcel 3 of the Pea Soup Anderson - Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad Ranch Project, CMWD Project F
to quitclaim an easement for water line purposes no longer required. The easement is located on tt
of Interstate No. 5 and north of the Palomar Airport Road intersection.
The Engineering staff has reviewed the request and concurs with the owner’s request. The eas
never used for water system facilities and will not be required for future water system use.

OF PEA SOUP ANDERSON - PASEO DEL NORTE, CARLSBAD RANCH

WHEREAS, Carpenters Pension Trust for Southern California, the curreni
submitted a request far quitclaim of a water line easement granted to the City of Carlsbad *
purposes and that the easement was never used for the water system facilities over a portion

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it to be
