ITEM EXPLANATION:
This item is a request by Carlsbad Properties, Inc., the current owner of Parcel 1 of the Pea Soup
Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad Ranch Project, CMWD Project No. 94-504, to quitclaim an easement fo
purposes no longer required. The easement is located on the east side of Interstate No. 5 and r
Palomar Airport Road intersection
The Engineering staff has reviewed the request and concurs with the owner's request. The eas
never used and will not be required for future water system use.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, FOR APPROVAL AND EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM OF
A WATER LINE EASEMENT ACROSS A PORTION OF PARCEL 1 OF PEA
CMWD PROJECT NO. 94-504
WHEREAS, Carlsbad Properties, Inc., the current owner, has submitted a
quitclaim of a water line easement granted to the City of Carlsbad for water line purposes
easement was never used for water system facilities over a portion Parcel 1 of Pea Soup Andei
Del Norte, Carlsbad Ranch Project, CMWD Project No. 94-504, ; and
SOUP ANDERSON - PASEO DEL NORTE, CARLSBAD RANCH PROJECT,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it to be
interest to quitclaim said water line easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of (
follows:
1, That the above recitations are true and correct,
2. That the quitclaim deed conveying a water line easement over a port]
1 of Pea Soup Anderson - Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad Ranch Project, CMWD Project No. 94
