Adopt Resolution No. 9 5- / 3 3 accepting the repairs to biological mitigation along Palom:
Airport Road, Project No. 3401, as complete and directing the City Clerk to record a Notice (
Completion and release bonds in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On July 12, 1994, Tarzian Landscape was awarded a contract in the amount of $114,738.00 t
construct the repairs to the biological mitigation for the Palomar Airport Road West Assessmetl
District and also to make repairs to the north side slopes within the same project limits.
Tarzian Landscape completed the work on May 15, 1995. City forces have inspected saic
construction and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends formal acceptance by the Cit
Council.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE REPAIRS TO BIOLOGICAL MITIGATION ALONG
PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD, PROJECT NO. 3401, AS COMPLETE
WHEREAS, construction of the repairs to biological mitigation along Palomar Airport Road t
been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That construction of repairs to biological mitigation along Palomar Airport Road, specific
identified as Project No. 3401, is deemed complete and hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Not
of Completion and have same recorded.
