RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. q5 - 192 approving the expansion of the North County Recyclir
Development Zone to include the City of Encinitas.

On November 16, 1993, the City Council approved the submittal of a regional applicati

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SUBMllTAL OF THE APPLICATION FOR EXPANSION OF THE NORTH COUNTY RECYCLING MARKET DEVELOPMENTZONE TO INCLUDE THE CITY OF ENClNlTAS
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is a member jurisdiction of the Nc
Recycling Market Development Zone; and
WHEREAS, the North County Recycling Market Development Zone
comprised of the cities of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Escondido, Oceanside, Poway, San
Marcos, Solana Beach and Vista and the County of San Diego; and
WHEREAS, the City of Encinitas is desirous of joining the North Count
Market Development Zone;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
as follows:
