RECOMMENDED ACTION:
CLK CAMINO DE LOS COCHES
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-325, amending Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code to establish a prima facie 40 mile per hour speed limit upon Camino De Los Coches from Rancho Santa
Fe Road to its intersection with La Costa Avenue.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-325 was introduced at the regular City Council meeting of October 17, 1995. The second reading allows Council
to adopt the ordinance which would then become effective in
thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published
within fifteen days, if adopted.

MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.500 TO ESTABLISH A
PRIMA FACIE 40 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON CAMINO DE LOS
COCHES FROM RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH LA COSTA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as fc
SECTION 1 : That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is arr
by the addition of Section 10.44.500 to read as follows:
"10.44.500 Camino De Los Coches:
Upon Camino De Los Coches from Rancho Santa Fe Road to its intersectic
La Costa Avenue, the prima facie speed limit shall be forty miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adopti

published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the Ci of Carlsbad
fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held
