RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-326, amending Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code by an amendment to the zoning map to grant a zone change from 0 to RD-M-Q on property generally located at the northeast corner of the Alga Road/Cobblestone Road intersection, in Local Facilities Management Zone 5.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-326 was introduced at the regular City Council meeting of November 7, 1995. The second reading allows Council to adopt the ordinance which would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published within fifteen days, if adopted.

THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AN
AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING MAP TO GRANT A
ZONE CHANGE, ZC 95-01 FROM 0 TO RD-M-Q ON
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE ALGA
ROAD/COBBLESTONE ROAD INTERSECTION, IN
LOCAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ZONE 5.

11 SECTION I: That Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by
12 the amendment of the zoning map as shown on the map marked “Exhibit ZC 95-Ol”,
13 attached hereto and made a part hereof.
14 SECTION II: That the findings and conditions of the Planning Commission
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does ordain as follows:
15 as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 3812 constitutes the findings and
16 conditions of the City Council.

SECTION III: The Council further finds that this action is consistent with the
General Plan and the Housing Element of the General Plan in that it provides affordable
housing to lower income households.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to
be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad
within fifteen days after its adoption.
