AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE
CARLSBAD RANCH SPECIFIC PLAN ON
APPROXIMATELY 447.40 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED
NORTH OF PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD, SOUTH OF
FUTURE CANNON ROAD, EAST OF PASEO DEL NORTE AND WEST OF LOCAL FACILITY MANAGEMENT
ZONES 5 AND 8 (AS AMENDED) IN LOCAL FACILITIES
MANAGEMENT ZONE 13.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has
reviewed and considered a Specific Plan Amendment for future development of the site; and
WHEREAS, after procedures in accordance with the requirements of
law, the City Council has determined that the public interest indicates that said plan be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City CounciI of the City of Carlsbad,
California does ordain as follows:
SECI’ION I: That the Carlsbad Ranch Specific Plan Amendment, SP
207(A), dated October 1995, and as amended by the conditions of approval in Planning
Commission Resolution No. 3848, on file in the Planning Department and incorporated by
reference herein, is approved and shall replace in its entirety SP 207. The Specific Plan
shall constitute the zoning for this property and all development of the property shall
conform to the plan.
SECTION II: That the findings and conditions of the Planning
Commission in Planning Commission Resolution No. 3848 shall also constitute the findings
and conditions of the City Council.

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after
its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it
to be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation within fifteen days after
its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 9th day of January , 19% and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the - day of 3 19. by the following vote, to wit:
