These funds will be made available to participants to hc purchase of books, payment of tuition and fees and the start-up costs for entr pursuits. WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has received donations of cash totaling one thousanc hundred and fifty dollars in support of the Family Self-Sufficiency Program; and WHEREAS, those donations will be used to assist in the overall success of participants in achic their goals to become self-sufficient; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the benevolence of those bank organizations that have contributed to this special program and accept these contributions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Car California, as follows: 1. 2.
