hundred and fifty dollars ($1,550) in support of the Family Self-sufficiency (FSS) PI
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Housing and Redevelopment Department has been provided with donations of c
one thousand five hundred and fifty dollars ($1,550) in support of the FSS program
The FSS program is designed to enable unemployed, underemployed or undereduca

Participants sign a five-year Career Plan outlining the steps needed to become se
These contributions will be used to help FSS participants to achieve their career goal

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING CASH
DONATIONS TOTALING ONE THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($1,550) IN SUPPORT
OF THE FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY (FSS) PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has received donations of cash totaling one thousanc
hundred and fifty dollars in support of the Family Self-Sufficiency Program; and
WHEREAS, those donations will be used to assist in the overall success of participants in achic
their goals to become self-sufficient; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the benevolence of those bank
organizations that have contributed to this special program and accept these contributions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Car
California, as follows:

That the City Council does hereby accept this cash donation in the amc
