RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-350, amending Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code by an amendment to the Zoning Map to grant a zone change from PC to R-1-7500-Q and from RDM-Q to R-1-7500-Q on two properties located north of Camino de las Ondas, east of Paseo De1 Norte, and south of Palomar Airport Road, within Specific Plan 203, in Local Facilities Management Plan Zone 20.
I ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-350 was introduced at the regular City Council meeting of March 5, 1996. The second reading allows Council to adopt the ordinance which would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published within fifteen days, if adopted.

AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING MAP TO GRANT A
ZONE CHANGE, ZC 94-04 FROM PC TO R-1-7500-Q AND
FROM RDM-Q TO R-1-7500-Q, ON TWO PROPERTIES

The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by
the amendment of the zoning map as shown on the map, attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
SECTION II: That the findings and conditions of the Planning Commission
as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 3873 constitutes the findings and
conditions of the City Council.
SECTION III: The Council further finds that this action is consistent with the
General Plan in that the One-Family Residential Zone (R-1-7500) is consistent with the
Residential Medium (RM) General Plan Land Use Designation and the Qualified
Development Overlay Zone (Q) is consistent with the General Plan scenic corridor
designation for Palomar Airport Road.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to
be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad
within fifteen days after its adoption.

INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council on the 6th day of MARCH J 1996, and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad on the 12 h day of a, 1996, by the following vote, to wit:
