ITEM EXPLANATION: The term of Kim Welshons expires in April, 1996. Ms. Welshons originally appointed in April, 1992, and has served four year In May, 1994, Tom Erwin was appointed to serve two years of a f year term. That appointment was effective June 1, 1994, expires June 1, 1996. The term, however, doesn‘t expire u April, 1998. In accordance with Section 2.24.020 of the Carlsbad Municipal C members are appointed by a majority vote of the City Council. One appointee will serve a four year term, which shall expir April, 2000. The appointment to the other term will be effec June 1, 1996, and the appointee will complete the term w expires in April, 1998. Other members of the Planning Commission are: Bill Compas, M Monroy, Robert Nielsen, Bailey Noble, and Peggy Savary.
