RECOMMENDED ACTION;
That the City Council ADOPT Resolution No. 5% - /6 i' , authorizing the City Mar
designee, including but not limited to the Assistant City Manager and Hc
Redevelopment Director, to execute documents necessary or required by the De
Housing and Community Development for participation in the Mobilehome Pat
Ownership Program.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On February 20, 1996, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 96-87, authorizing tt-
a co-applicant with Rancho Carlsbad County Club Estates for funding from the State
of Housing and Community Development Mobilehome Park Resident Ownershi
(MPROP).
\n order to meet the March 1, 1996 application deadline, Rancho Carlsbad 01
signatures of the Assistant City Manager and Housing and Redevelopment Direct0
the submittal, instead of the City Manager who was authorized to sign. The State is
for certification of authority for these signatures on behalf of the City as co-appl.ican
aspect of the application or the City's co-applicant certification approved on Februa
has changed.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The MPROP application proposed $200,000 in City assistance to Rancho Carlsbad VI
require City Council approval at a later date. This particular action regarding signir
involves no fiscal impact.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
NO. 96-67 EXPANDING AUTHORITY TO SIGN FOR
CITY‘S CO-APPLICATION FOR FUNDING FROM THE
CALIFORNIA MOBILEHOME PARK RESIDENT OWNERSHIP PROGRAM
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on February 20, 1996, the City Council g
Resolution No. 96-67 authorizing the City to be a co-applica
Rancho Carlsbad Country Club Estates for funding by the
Department of Housing and Redevelopment in the Cal
Mobilehome Park Resident Ownership Program; and
WHEREAS, said resolution authorized the City Man

application; and
WHEREAS, the application had to be submitted on or
