3ECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 96 r /3 8 to accept the public improvements, authorize the City
Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release bonds, and direct the Community
Services Department to commence maintaining the public improvements constructed on
Cone De La Vista east of Alicante Road in the City of Carlsbad, California.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The developer has constructed improvements required of this project and has requested
the City to accept the public improvements. City forces have inspected the public
improvements and found them to be satisfactory.
The public improvements constructed consist of street improvements, storm drain
improvements and sewer.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Community Services Department will be required to maintain the public improvements.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING - THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS,
AUTHORlZlNG THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION, RELEASING BONDS, AND DIRECTING THE COMMUNITY
SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO COMMENCE MAINTAINING THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED ON CORTE DE LA VISTA EAST OF
ALICANTE ROAD - CT 90-23.
WHEREAS, the public improvements consisting of the street improvements, storm drain
improvements, sewer and landscaped medians located on Cone De La Vista east of Alicante
Road in the City of Carlsbad, California, have been successfully completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of the above described public improvements is deemed
complete and hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to record the
Notice of Completion for said project and release the bonds in accordance with State Law and
City Ordinances.
4. That the Community Services Department of the City of Carlsbad, California, is hereby j
directed to commence maintaining the above described public improvements for said project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carisbad City Council
held on the zlstday of MAY 9 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
