RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. G/6 -&I to accept the public improvements, authorize the City
Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release bonds, and direct the Community
Services Department to commence maintaining the public improvements constructed south
of Garfield Street and north of Agua Hedionda Lagoon in the City of Carlsbad, California.

ITEM EXPLANATION:
The developer has constructed improvements required of this project and has requested
the City to accept the public improvements. City forces have inspected the public
improvements and found them to be satisfactory.
The public improvements constructed consist of street improvements and sewer.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Community Services Department will be required to maintain the public improvements.

2. Resolution No. 9b-180 to accept the public improvements, authorize the City
Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release bonds, and direct the Community
Services Department to commence maintaining the public improvements constructed
south of Garfield Street and north of Agua Hedionda Lagoon.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING- THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION, RELEASING BONDS, AND DIRECTING THE COMMUNITY
SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO COMMENCE MAINTAINING THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED SOUTH OF GARFIELD STREET AND
NORTH OF AGUA HEDIONDA LAGOON - PD 426.
WHEREAS, the public improvements consisting of the street improvements, storm drain I
improvements, sewer and landscaped medians located south of Garfield Street and north of
Agua Hedionda Lagoon in the City of Carlsbad, California, have been successfully completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of the above described public improvements is deemed
complete and hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carl&ad is hereby authorized and directed to record the (
Notice of Completion for said project and release the bonds in accordance with State Law and ’
City Ordinances.
4. That the Community Services Department of the City of Carlsbad, California, is hereby
’ directed to commence maintaining the above described public improvements for said project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council /
held on the 21st day of MAY , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
