Robert Holmes has resigned as a member a4 +he Parks & Reel Commission. The vacated term expires in August, 3 Therefore, it is recommended that the Mayor appoint one mer
fill the unexpired term.
Courtney Heineman has been appointed to the Planning COIN
effective June 1, 1996, which creates an additional vaca the Parks & Recreation Commission. The vacated term expi
August, 1996. Therefore, it is recommended that the
appoint one member to fill the unexpired term, and the subs
term expiring in August, 2000.
Other members are: Julie Baker, Gary Clox, Tim Davidson, 1
Scott Pieratt, and Seth Schulberg.

It has been my pleasure to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission for the past three year
It has been an educational experience and provides valuable insight into how our city fimctions.
This year I was elected Chairperson ofthe Commission and I look forward to completing my ter
as chair. I therefore formally request that I be reappointed to the Parks and Kecreation
Commission for another three year term.
On another matter, the Parks and Recreation Conmission currently as two openings. It is my
understandins that a Mr. Dennis Cunningham has applied for one of those openings. 1 have
