Adopt Resolution No. % -d q-3 accepting the 1995 Street Sealing Program, Pro, 2412S, as complete and directing the City Clerk to record a Notice of Complet
release bonds in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On February 13, 1996, Schaefer's Parking Lot Service was awarded a contract
amount of $195,651 for the 1995 Street Sealing Program.
Schaefer's Parking Lot Service completed the work on June 5, 1996. City force
inspected said work and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends formal accc
by the City Council.
The difference in the award price of $195,651 and actual construction cost of $19E
because of increased bid quantities to complete work to current City standards.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE 1995 STREET SEALING PROGRAM,
PROJECT NO. 24128.
WHEREAS, the 1995 Street Sealing Program, Project No. 2412s has been s8

7 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the 1995 Street Sealing Program, Project No. 24128, is deemed cor
