Adopt Resolution No.qh -d 9 '1 accepting the Downtown Sidewalk Repair, Proj
241 1, as complete and directing the City Clerk to record a Notice of Completi
release bonds in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On March 12, 1996, Camino lrvine Company was awarded a contract in the arr
$22,883 for the Downtown Sidewalk Repair.
Camino lrvine Company completed the work on June 3, 1996. City forces have in'
said work and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends formal acceptance by
Council.
The difference in the award price of $22,883 and actual construction cost of $3 because of increased bid quantities in the amount of $5,250 and a change ordc
amount of $4,025 to complete work to current City standards.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DOWNTOWN SIDEWALK REPAIR,
PROJECT NO. 241 1.
WHEREAS, the Downtown Sidewalk Repair, Project No. 2411 has been sa
completed; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Downtown Sidewalk Repair, Project No. 241 1, is deemed corn
hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carisbad i!; hereby authorized and directed tc
the Notice of Completion and have same recorded.
4. That bonds will be released in accordawe with State Law and City Ordinai
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carisbad Cit
held on the 9th day of JULY , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
