COUNTY AIRPORT STAFF UPDATE ON THE McCLELLAN-
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That after hearing the presentation on the McClellan-Palomar Airport Master Plan,
City Council, by minute motion, refer the Master Plan back to staff to work with COI
Airport representatives on the processing of a Conditional Use Permit Amendn
incorporating the Airport Master Plan.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Representatives of McClellan-Palomar Airport have requested an opportunit,
update the City Council on the proposed McClellan-Palomar Airport Master Plan.
purpose of the presentation is to: (1) inform the Council of the process undertake
Master Plan; and, (3) inform the Council of their intent to process an amendmer
the Airport Conditional Use Permit (CUP 172) to incorporate the recommendation
the Airport Master Plan. The consultants hired by the County to prepare the Air
Master Plan, Coffman Associates, will participate in the presentation and will
available to answer any technical questions that Council may have on the Air
Master Plan.
