Edward Juchniewicz has resigned as a member of the Sister (
Committee. The vacated term expires in April, 1997.

Dear Mayor Lewis:
It has been brought to my attention by Colleen Finnegan, staff liaison to the Sister City
Committee, that I am still named as an active Committee member through 1997. Due to
several new ventures and opportunities, and the time they require, I resigned my
Committee position several months ago in 1995. At that time I notified the Committee in
a letter, which has since gone astray. Please consider this letter as my formal
announcement of resignation to you.
I enjoyed my tenure with the Sister City Committee and will continue to support its
activities and promote its recognition throughout Carlsbad. Thank you for the
opportunity to serve my community.
