RECOMMENDED ACTION:
ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION
City Council adopt Resolution No. 9d-3Gaccepting a $1,000 donation from anonymous donors.
Item Explanation:
The Senior Center recently received a $1,000 donation. The individua donating the funds has requested that the donation be utilized to suppor special luncheons (Octoberfest, Luau, etc.). In addition, the donor ha5 requested to remain anonymous.
Senior Commission Recommendation:
At their meeting on September 5, 1996, the Senior Commission unanimous! accepted the $1,000 donation. The Commission recommends that thi! donation be deposited into the Senior Trust Fund to be utilized to celebratf special occasions in the diningroom.
Fiscal Impact:
The $1,000 donation has been deposited into the Senior Trust Fund Accour #I 82-81 0-9203-8950.

RESOLUTION NO. 96-344
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF
ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000)
WHEREAS, one thousand dollars ($1,000) was donated to the
Carlsbad Senior Center by A person who requests to remain
anonymous; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift;
NOW, THEREFOREI BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1.
($1,000) on behalf of the Senior Citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
That the City Council accepts the donation of one thousand dollar‘
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of th
22nd day c City Council of the City of Carlsbad held on the
OCTOBER , 1996, by the following vote, to wit:
