RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No. 919- Y 0 4 approving Supplement Nos. 018 and 019 to the Sta Transportation Partnership Program Agreement No. SLTPP-5308 providing funding transportation projects and authorizing the Mayor to execute the documents. 1 ITEM EXPLANATION: In 1991, the City entered into a State and Local Transportation Partnership Pro! Agreement with the State which permits the City to apply for funds for transportation F State contribution rate is based on the prorata share of funds allocated by the Sta relative to all projects being funded. Supplements are made to the Master Agreemen; the funding of individual projects. Supplement Nos. 018 and 019 will provide funding for Valley, Magnolia and Chestnut st1 and Avenida Encinas widening and extension. While the exact amount will be based budget allocation, it is anticipated that the City will receive approximately $109,958 fi projects. It is mutually understood between the parties that this contract may have been written before ascertaining the the mutual benefit of both parties, in order to avoid program and fiscal delays that would occur if the agreement were executed after that determination was made. The total amount of State-Local Transportation Partnership funds payable by the State shall not exceed $46168 to be encumbered and reimbursed as follows: availability of legislative appropriation of funds, for FY 96-97 $ 46168 FY 97-98 0 FY 98-99 0 Any increase in State Partnership funds will require a+ revised program supplement. Any decrease in State Partnership funds will require a revised finance letter. 2. SPECIAL COVENANTS FOR SLTPP PROJECTS UNDER EARLY REIMBURSEMENT PLAN AND UNDER $300,000 STATE SHARE These Covenants supersede any conflicting provisions of the Master Agreement: A.
