Adopt Resolution No. 919- Y 0 4 approving Supplement Nos. 018 and 019 to the Sta
Transportation Partnership Program Agreement No. SLTPP-5308 providing funding transportation projects and authorizing the Mayor to execute the documents. 1 ITEM EXPLANATION:
In 1991, the City entered into a State and Local Transportation Partnership Pro!
Agreement with the State which permits the City to apply for funds for transportation F
State contribution rate is based on the prorata share of funds allocated by the Sta
relative to all projects being funded. Supplements are made to the Master Agreemen;
the funding of individual projects.
Supplement Nos. 018 and 019 will provide funding for Valley, Magnolia and Chestnut st1
and Avenida Encinas widening and extension. While the exact amount will be based budget allocation, it is anticipated that the City will receive approximately $109,958 fi

To date, the City has received over $4 million in State funds with only minor administrati

1. It is mutually understood between the parties that this contract may have been written before ascertaining the

A. The LOCAL ENTITY agrees that the payment of "State ShareFunds" will be limited to the lesser of the product of multiplying the calculated pro rata percentage as determined the STATE by either:

(b) The total eligible State/Local Partnership Project

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SUPPLEMENT NOS. 018
AND 019 TO STATE AND LOCAL TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS.
PROGRAM MASTER AGREEMENT NO. SLTPP-5308 AND
WHEREAS, the City and State have previously entered into State
Transportation Partnership Program Master Agreement No. SLTPP-5308; and
WHEREAS, the City has applied for and been granted approval for the Valle)
and Chestnut street widening and Avenida Encinas street widening and extension; anc
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that receipt of this supplemental funding is t:
the transportation system for both the City and the State.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City 01

1, That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council hereby approves Program Supplement Nos. 018 anc
State and Local Transportation Partnership Agreement SLTPP-5308.
3. That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute documents I
Supplement Nos. 018 and 019.
